October Fun!

School, Soccer, and Circus

Carson was actually sick for his first two days of Preschool this year so this was taken after he was feeling better. He wanted to do a non cheese smile for the pic so this is what he came up with. I think Tim has an identical one of him when he was younger. :)

The Circus was in town last weekend and Grandpa Terry wanted to take Carson Friday afternoon. So Friday morning Carson decided he didn't want to go unless I went with him. Luckily Grandpa Terry was able to get an extra ticket so Tes and I could tag along. We had a good time watching all of the tricks and stunts. It even kept Tes' attention through most of it!

Top of Utah Half Marathon

Tim and I did it, we ran our first Half Marathon!!!

Phew, glad to be done. I did it in 2 hours and 12 minutes, so I guess I averaged a 10 minute mile. Something to definitely work to improve. :) I must say that it is addicting. Tim and I are looking forward to the next one we get to run in.

Positive Princess

Tes was so happy after her bath the other night and she likes to say, "Ya!" to any question we ask her. Take a look and see what a positive little girl we have. ;)

July in a Nutshell

This was too cute, I had to post it. We went to Lindsey Fillmore's Wedding Reception last night, which I still can't believe I'm saying that. Sarah's little sister can't be old enough to get married right?!!! So I failed to get a pic of the actual gorgeous couple but managed to get one of the future gorgeous couple. Here's Carson with Bella, Sarah's 2nd girl. They were both being so bashful it was adorable! Before we knew it Carson was dancing in a circle with probably 5 more of the darling Fillmore girls. Too cute for words is all I have to say about that.
Tes and Daddy. We had a fun 24th this year. We went to the Ogden Parade with Harm and Josh and then went swimming afterwards at the Whitesides. Good times indeed!

Here we are celebrating Tim's birthday. Tim does not particularly like cake so we made him birthday lemon bars instead. Happy Birthday Honey! We love you!
We started off July by heading up to Oregon and spending time with the whole Davis clan. Here we are hiking Punchbowl Falls. It was a blast! I uploaded more pics on FB if you want to see more. :)

Tessa's 1 Year Pics...a little late.

I know I'm a little late getting these posted. I don't know how I forgot to post them, oh well. So here is Tessa during her 1 year photoshoot with Tina. We were lucky to get some good smiles out of her this session. I can't believe my little girl is now almost 15 months old! We love you Baby Cupcake!

Summer Time Already?

Darth Carson here. Carson loves Star Wars right now. He'll walk around with a towel over his head, carrying his light saber pretending to be Darth Vader or Aniken, depending on the day. Some days he's even a battle droid with his backpack on carrying his water gun.
Tessa enjoying her little pool. I didn't think she'd like the cold water from the hose, but she didn't seem to mind it at all. She just laughed and splashed away.

Carson's Preschool Graduation

My baby's all grown up and graduated from his first year of Preschool. It was a cute little ceremony. Each of the kids recited a different poem that they had learned throughout the year. I was impressed! Thank you Miss Darcy for a wonderful year!

Tes started off really happy about the whole thing, but she changed her mind quickly after this picture and decided that she wanted this greasy stuff off her hands. I tried getting rid of her red eyes on photoshop, but the version I have is different from the one from my class so I haven't had much luck yet. I will have to ask the teacher about it in my next class.

At Grandma Lanie's. I made the kids dress up so I could get a few pics of them together. Rude I know, I mean it's conference weekend isn't that also known as PJ weekend? No worries, we did bring a change of clothes.

It had been a while since the Davis Family had pictures done...6 1/2 years to be exact so we thought it was time to get them taken. The last picture that was done was before Josh, Carson, Tessa, and Cannon entered into the family. We (the kids) decided that while everyone was together this Christmas, we'd get them done as a present for Mom and Dad. By the end of it all, Carson and Tessa had had enough so we didn't get any of just them, but that's alright, the rest turned out cute. We had our friend April Stettler take them and she did a great job! Here is a collage of our favorite shots...

Holiday Highlights...a little late I know.

Happy New Years! We spent New Years Eve with our old Syracuse clan. It's been a fun tradition these past 5 years or so now. Thanks guys for the memories.
Our Christmas Party with Tim's family. Tif created our lovely, cheesy holiday sweaters that we had to wear. Nice work Tif! It made for a great night full of laughs.
My siblings and I. We had a great time with my whole family in town this year. It doesn't happen very often with all of us spread throughout the U.S., so we cherish the moments we do have.

My sweet kiddos. Carson absolutely LOVED having everyone here. Tes on the other hand was even more attached to my hip, if that's possible. She loved the attention and would smile at everyone...as long as Mommy was holding her.
