Happy happy birthday to me! It was my big 3-0 last week and so Tim wanted to do something special. We had talked about having a party, but worried about having enough space in our home for those we wanted to invite. That's kind of the down side of having a winter birthday...no fun BBQs & pool parties. Needless to say, Tim booked us a trip to Vegas to see Phantom of the Opera from the 5th row! It was AMAZING! We brought Grandpa Terry along with us as our built in babysitter. :) We all had a great time! Here are a few of the highlights from our trip...

We stayed at the Excaliber while we were there. We thought the kids would like it because it looks like a castle...and no we did not go see Thunder from Down Under while we were there.

After the show...it was AMAZING! I think I liked it better this time than when I saw it back in HS. It gave me the chills! Thanks honey for making me feel special on my first depressing birthday. :) XOXOXOXO

That looks like such a fun trip. Our kids are big fans of the lions at MGM too. Very fun!
Way fun. I'm jealous. I would love to go see phantom. What a great birthday present. Glad you had a good birthday. It's deserved when turning the dreaded 30. I'm not looking forward to it.
